Feature list

View, add, change and remove the Byte Order Mark (BOM) in a text file
Select or drag and drop a file to view the Byte Order Mark (BOM)
Open contained directory
Change newline from Windows newline (\r\n) to Linux / Mac newline (\n) (or reverse)
Automatic update if the file is changed

Note: This tool is now more or less useless as Microsoft in Windows 10 version 1903 released 2019-05-21 has changed the default encoding in Notepad from ANSI (=Windows-1252) to UTF-8 (Without BOM).
Notepad can now also handle Linux / Mac newline (\n), so this feature is also more or less useless. The tool can still be used to remove the BOM from old files, and from files created using the new non default "UTF-8 with BOM" option.
